\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tWhile waiting for the perfect light at M\u00fala\u00adfo\u00adssur on the Faroe Islands, I spent my time captu\u00adring the perfect moments at the water\u00adfall. Not easy, as the light was already quite dark in the late evening and the birds were flying around the falling water at a brisk pace. Nevert\u00adheless, I managed to get some great shots, a few of which will certainly make it into my port\u00adfolio. \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tA view not to be missed on the Faroe Islands is the view of the Fossa, the largest water\u00adfall on the Faroe Islands. From the oppo\u00adsite side of the fjord, you have the oppor\u00adtu\u00adnity to see the Fossa in all its gran\u00addeur. It is one of the few water\u00adfalls on the Faroe Islands that carries water all year round. Many smaller water\u00adfalls on the Faroe Islands often dry up after a few days of drought, but usually swell up again into impres\u00adsive water\u00adfalls after a short rain\u00adfall. At the Fossa itself, you can also walk up to the upper cascade. When we were there, however, this was not possible as the mud on the path was far too slip\u00adpery and there was hardly any grip. <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t

The compo\u00adsi\u00adtion of the picture lives from the curved green ferns poin\u00adting towards the center of the picture, the water flow and the rocks that create a triangle towards the water\u00adfall in the lower part of the picture. Although this patch of nature is in the middle of Germany, it could just as easily be in a jungle or another planet unknown to man. <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t

It is some\u00adwhat remote and hidden, but when you get close to it, you can hear the sound of the water falling down its gorge. The descent to the water\u00adfall is a bit of an adven\u00adture. But it was worth it, because behind each rock you could discover another secret. The result of this photo, however, convinced me comple\u00adtely at home in front of the computer. After a short walk over 100 meters of alti\u00adtude through the snowy forest, we arrived at this well-known view\u00adpoint. A sawn-off tree trunk lies next to it, rotting away. It is lying in a large puddle of water that has formed this summer, which is very watery. \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAt first glance, as I walked past, this scene was quite unre\u00admar\u00adkable. What I parti\u00adcu\u00adlarly liked was the forest floor, which was comple\u00adtely covered in green. The tree in the fore\u00adground has a little pecu\u00adlia\u00adrity in its appearance, so I took a closer look at the scene. I noticed that the trees in the back\u00adground were also wonderfully stag\u00adgered. A few centi\u00adme\u00adters back, a little further in the focal length, a little lower and 2 cm to the right, then the compo\u00adsi\u00adtion was right for me. The foggy atmo\u00adsphere helped with the compo\u00adsi\u00adtion and empha\u00adsized the myste\u00adrious mood of this forest scene. <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t

Espe\u00adci\u00adally in a healthy forest, ever\u00ady\u00adthing lives in harmony with each other. The animals, the trees, the bushes. When the mist or light rain in the morning makes the atmo\u00adsphere almost magical, it seems so peaceful. You can only hear the rain drip\u00adping on the leaves and your own foot\u00ads\u00adteps. From a distance, you can hear the soft hamme\u00adring of a woodpe\u00adcker and the occa\u00adsional bird\u00adsong. In the soft back\u00adlight, the trunks of the beech trees look like dark figures. This is enhanced by the humi\u00addity of the prevai\u00adling light rain and the mist. The summery green of the beech leaves makes the whole atmo\u00adsphere appear gree\u00adnish, which under\u00adlines the tran\u00adquil\u00adlity of the scene. These are the scenes that I like to look for most in the forest and that I love to photo\u00adgraph, because these photo\u00adgraphs are also incre\u00addibly atmo\u00adspheric when printed on the wall. <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t

When the tree\u00adtops are already thin\u00adning out, allo\u00adwing more light into the forest, but there are still a few last, brightly colored autumn leaves clinging to the bran\u00adches. The chance of fog in the woods increases and you can take some great melan\u00adcholic, mystical and dreamy pictures. What I found, however, was snow already falling in places. But when condi\u00adtions like this prevail in our little wine-growing commu\u00adnity, ever\u00adyone is lite\u00adrally drawn out into nature. And as the winter sun had to be used for this shot in the early evening, I had no choice but to accept this fact. But if you are looking for some\u00adthing special in the bare winter forest, this young tree, elegantly dancing around the big trees, can catch your eye. That\u2019s how it caught my eye and I was able to bring it into a beau\u00adtiful compo\u00adsi\u00adtion with a long focal length. The back\u00adlight and the prevai\u00adling fog in the forest natu\u00adrally help this motif. But I wanted to wait for the right condi\u00adtions. This late fall, there was enough fog to take this picture of the broken tree. In addi\u00adtion to the actual motif, the broken oak, it was also important to me to show the surroun\u00addings, which actually stand out some\u00adwhat from the surroun\u00adding forest. The ground vege\u00adta\u00adtion in parti\u00adcular is charac\u00adte\u00adrized by comple\u00adtely diffe\u00adrent dark green plants here, unlike in the rest of the forest. So I set off to a place where I had been before in summer. Being in the shade under trees is beau\u00adtiful not only in summer.
