But it was the right decision not to be discou\u00adraged and to go out and take photos, no matter what the weather was like. When the sky suddenly began to turn the most beau\u00adtiful colors, our persis\u00adtence was rewarded with one of the most beau\u00adtiful evening reds I had seen in recent years. <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tEs ist die bekann\u00adteste und wohl am meisten foto\u00adgra\u00adfierte Land\u00adschafts\u00adszene der F\u00e4r\u00f6er. Ein Grund d\u00fcrfte die einfache Zug\u00e4ng\u00adlich\u00adkeit sein. Aber auch der impo\u00adsante Talkessel und der hohe Wasser\u00adfall, der hinab ins Meer st\u00fcrzt, d\u00fcrfte einen Teil zur Popu\u00adla\u00adrit\u00e4t beitragen. Meiner Inter\u00adpre\u00adta\u00adtion dieses wolken\u00adver\u00adhan\u00adgenen Abends bei G\u00e1sa\u00addalur gab ich \u00fcber eine Lang\u00adzeit\u00adbe\u00adlich\u00adtung einen beson\u00adderen Touch. In the back\u00adground, Risin peeks out from behind the steep coastal cliffs that actually rise from the sea to the summit of Ei\u00f0is\u00adkollur. The rough sea and the cold wind from the north were actually blowing the sea and rain water relent\u00adlessly into our faces, but for a few minutes it held within. Nevert\u00adheless, the stones were as smooth as glass and even on this flat surface, walking around was an adven\u00adture. \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tTief\u00adh\u00e4n\u00adgende Wolken, wenig Weit\u00adsicht, entge\u00adgen\u00adsprit\u00adzendes Regen- und Meer\u00adwasser, eisig kalter Wind wehte ins Gesicht \u2014 es gibt sch\u00f6\u00adnere Bedin\u00adgungen, um zu foto\u00adgra\u00adfieren, aber f\u00fcr diesen beson\u00adderen, rauen K\u00fcsten\u00adab\u00adschnitt fand ich die diese Stim\u00admung perfekt. Zwar konnte ich die Augen immer nur kurz \u00f6ffnen, um durch den Sucher zu schauen, ehe mir die Tr\u00e4nen die Backen runter\u00adrannen und ich war auch perma\u00adnent am Trocken\u00adwi\u00adschen der Linsen, aber irgendwie habe ich es dennoch geschafft ein tolle Kompo\u00adsi\u00adtion zu finden und aufzuehmen. \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tDieses Bild zeigte einen Anblick, der so typisch f\u00fcr die F\u00e4r\u00f6er ist. Auf der Insel\u00adgruppe f\u00e4hrt man st\u00e4ndig zwischen den H\u00e4ngen der Fjord\u00adland\u00adschaft und den Fjorden selbst auf den Stra\u00dfen umher, wenn man von einer Insel zu anderen m\u00f6chte. Das hei\u00dft, solche Szenen k\u00f6nnen sich immer wieder ergeben. Was an diesem Bild so sch\u00f6n ist, ist die kleine Wolken\u00adl\u00fccke die sich an diesem sonst sehr wolken\u00adver\u00adhan\u00adgenen Tag ergeben hatte und f\u00fcr einen kurzen Moment die Fjord\u00adw\u00e4nde anstrahlte. Dadurch ergibt sich eine wunder\u00adbare Tiefe im Bild. Das kleine H\u00e4uss\u00adchen im Licht\u00adschein gibt zu dem noch eine wunder\u00adbare Skalie\u00adrung und man erkennt wie gro\u00df diese Land\u00adschaft ist. <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t

It shows boat and fishermen\u2019s houses on Leitis\u00advatn, one of the largest inland lakes, toge\u00adther with two small sheep. In the back\u00adground, you can get an idea of what the fjord walls of the Faroe Islands might look like. The steeply sloping hill in the back\u00adground is the so-called slave rock Tr\u00e6lan\u00edpa. Another element in this picture is the some\u00adtimes unpre\u00addic\u00adtable weather. Here, dense clouds were just passing over our heads and even released a little sunlight that we would other\u00adwise have hardly seen at all on this other\u00adwise comple\u00adtely gray day. <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t

The access road was closed. It was not possible to look for other routes in the dark. So I decided in favour of another spot. This turned out to be the perfect spot. My focus was on the wide-angle lens and the plants and rocks in front of the sea at sunrise. Suddenly I noticed this pine tree growing out of an almost vertical rock just a few metres above the sea. Immer dann, wenn die Ebbe der Nordsee die \u00dcber\u00adbleibsel frei\u00adgibt. An einem beson\u00adders gespens\u00adti\u00adschen Wetter, wolken\u00adbe\u00adhangen und voller Nebel, stat\u00adtete ich dem Mahnmal einen Besuch ab, um es zu foto\u00adgra\u00adfieren. Die Ruhe und das stim\u00admungs\u00advolle, neblige Wetter wirkten so wunderbar entspan\u00adnend und erholsam auf mich, dass ich mich f\u00fcr diese Zentral\u00adkom\u00adpo\u00adsi\u00adtion entschied, die alles Elemente im Gleichgwicht anordnet. The idea came during a short walk. After I had checked the sun\u2019s course, the plan\u00adning for the evening inclu\u00adding the loca\u00adtion was then perfect. And they were frozen so deeply that the ice surfaces became a play\u00adground for children during the day.
