\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tSome\u00adthing I always love to do in nature is to capture inti\u00admate details of this very unique world. The closer you get, the more fasci\u00adna\u00adting details you see. This can result in beau\u00adtiful photo\u00adgraphs. In my port\u00adfolio Small Scenes, I show fasci\u00adna\u00adting details of nature from macro shots to very specific sections of the land\u00adscape, so-called inti\u00admate land\u00adscapes, as well as abstract-looking. These shots are intended to create an inti\u00admacy or even fami\u00adlia\u00adrity with nature for the viewer and perhaps even spark a fasci\u00adna\u00adtion for the small world. <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

It shows wonderfully the move\u00adments of the water and how this washes around the rocks. Such a shot is always some\u00adwhat asso\u00adciated with try-and-error. Crucial is the search for the ideal expo\u00adsure time and just then still the right wave move\u00adment to catch. <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t

I deli\u00adbera\u00adtely photo\u00adgra\u00adphed it like this to create the impres\u00adsion of an oil pain\u00adting by an old master painter. I moved the camera in a certain motion during the expo\u00adsure time to create this effect. A tech\u00adnique that requires a lot of prac\u00adtice and, above all, involves many, many failed attempts. This shot of the Sylt beach with sea and dune stood out the most in all the results, with its beau\u00adtifully formed lines at the edge of the sea and the wavy lines on the dune landscape. <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tA small scene that caught my eye during a hike in the fjord of Saksun. An almost poiso\u00adnous green seaweed left behind by the tide. The gentle wave struc\u00adture of the beach was also formed by the rece\u00adding water of the sea during the tran\u00adsi\u00adtion from high tide to low tide. The seaweed lay between these grooves and was no longer carried away and left behind by the waves of the water. <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tA little surreal seems this shot already, I admit. Taken during hurri\u00adcane-like gusts on the sandy beach of Stin\u00adtino. With my back to the wind, I stood there to protect my camera from the whip\u00adping wind and the patte\u00adring of the whirled up sand. I sear\u00adched for beau\u00adtiful patterns in the sand that changed by the minute thanks to the wind. The waves of sand, formed by the strong wind the day before are wonderful to see, but so is the slipstream of the stone, which is other\u00adwise comple\u00adtely invisible. <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tOn the second day of our stay in Stin\u00adtino, Sardinia, we had to fight all day with a hurri\u00adcane-like wind. We made it to the beach once in the evening, but the wind constantly whipped the sand of the beach in our faces, so that it was almost impos\u00adsible to take pictures. But I smelled my chance for some inti\u00admate land\u00adscape shots the next morning. Before anyone else could leave their foot\u00adprints in the sand, I was on the spot taking pictures. This was the first scene I discovered. <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThis mussel could not be submerged. The reflu\u00adxing water took ever\u00ady\u00adthing around it back into the sea. This small mussel, however, had been able to defend itself. Thanks to its shape, it was able to cling to the beach. The water, which had washed around it last, provided for remai\u00adning patterns, at least until the next wave. Under\u00adneath, you can see many trian\u00adgles that look as if they are coming from the little shell. <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tOn the way to a photo spot I wanted to visit at sunset, I spotted some huge rocks that were satu\u00adrated with large and small cracks. Their size led me to believe that they were solid rocks, unaf\u00adfected by wind and weather. However, the closer you look at them, the more brittle they seemed to me and you can see that the ravages of time are also gnawing away at them. <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t

This specimen held on to the edges of a rock, so as not to be washed away by the next tide. In the light of the low sun, I was able to capture the struc\u00adture of the rock, as well as the brightly lit rock in this small scene. <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t

Three small stones that were washed up on the rocks of the coast and now lay there. The rising sun provided texture to the rocks and illu\u00admi\u00adnated the scene. Tech\u00adni\u00adcally not quite perfect yet, but I still like the composition. <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t

Waiting for the graceful light and the calm\u00adness of the sea that evening inspired me to take this shot. Nevert\u00adheless, since the small waves are moving fast, it was not easy to get this shot. This is not about macro photo\u00adgraphy, but rather about the small land\u00adscapes that are some\u00adtimes over\u00adlooked in the vast expanse of the world. Partly really exci\u00adting what there is to discover. Like this rock, which has so many cracks and crevices and yet is a massive stone. <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t

What I liked about this section, however, was the fact that over the years the water has ground down the edge of the rock, that a hollow was created through which the water can now flow. <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t

Here I photo\u00adgra\u00adphed one of the last narrow sections of the water\u00adfall quite inti\u00adm\u00adately. Only a few meters further, the water rushes into the open valley. <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t

I have deli\u00adbera\u00adtely selected and photo\u00adgra\u00adphed a section of the water\u00adfall with a longer focal length, which shows how the water masses flow over the indi\u00advi\u00addual rock ledges and cascades. And although an enormous force is exerted by the water on the rock walls, the water looks smooth and silky even with a short expo\u00adsure time of 1\/640 sec. <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t

Espe\u00adci\u00adally for tech\u00adno\u00adlogy enthu\u00adsi\u00adasts who crave more and more pixels, reso\u00adlu\u00adtion and sharp\u00adness. For those who are guided by feeling and emotion, this crea\u00adtive way of photo\u00adgra\u00adphing may be much more appe\u00adaling. Details, contours and struc\u00adtures are dissolved, colors and light become more important, the mere essence of the image is preserved. It also opens up the possi\u00adbi\u00adlity of expres\u00adsing the emotions and percep\u00adtion of the land\u00adscape in photos. <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t

When on the second day of our stay there, the light was favorable, I used a quiet minute for this shot. What wonderful minia\u00adture land\u00adscape emerges in it, if you look at it a little. Consciously, I chose to take a detailed photo showing only a section of its mighty trunk. Some\u00adthing I always love to do in nature is to capture inti\u00admate details of this very unique world. The closer you get, the more fasci\u00adna\u00adting details you see. This can result in beau\u00adtiful photo\u00adgraphs. In my port\u00adfolio Small Scenes, I show fasci\u00adna\u00adting details of nature from macro shots to very specific sections of the land\u00adscape, so-called inti\u00admate land\u00adscapes, as well as abstract-looking.
