\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tIn this blog post, I intro\u00adduce you to a beau\u00adtiful photo loca\u00adtion in Austria: the Gosausee. In my eyes, it is one of the most beau\u00adtiful land\u00adscapes in Austria and ther\u00ade\u00adfore a favou\u00adrite desti\u00adna\u00adtion for me as a photo\u00adgrapher. The calm waters of the lake, surrounded by the maje\u00adstic moun\u00adtains of the Hohe Tauen, make the lake a spec\u00adta\u00adcular place to take unique photos. <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Last late summer we visited the beau\u00adtiful lake in the Salz\u00adburg region for the second time. Our first visit was a hike around the Gosau\u00adkamm, where we descended from the Adamek\u00adh\u00fctte down to the two Gosausee lakes on the last day. The last visit, was as part of our family holiday. With our 1 1\/2 year old daughter, we walked around the front Gosausee and took the gondola up to the Gosau\u00adkamm\u00adbahn and visited the Sonnenalm.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Gosau\u00adkamm Round Trip<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

For the circum\u00adna\u00advi\u00adga\u00adtion of the Gosau\u00adkamm, we recom\u00admend using the over\u00adnight accom\u00admo\u00adda\u00adtion at the Gablonzer H\u00fctte, Hofp\u00fcr\u00adgel\u00adh\u00fctte and Adamek\u00adh\u00fctte. Depen\u00adding on the routes you take, the 4 stages add up to a total of approx. 33 km and over 2000 m of alti\u00adtude. You will be rewarded with breath\u00adta\u00adking views and beau\u00adtiful landscapes.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Those who have a not too long journey can test their leg muscles directly on the first day with the ascent to the Gablonzer H\u00fctte. If you arrive late and are worried about getting there in time, it is best to use the Gosau\u00adkamm cable car and save yourself about 3 km of walking and 600 m of ascent. In either case, the starting point is one of the many parking possi\u00adbi\u00adli\u00adties at the end of the Gosau\u00adsee\u00adstra\u00dfe, or the moun\u00adtain station of the Gosaukammbahn.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Stage 2: From the Gablonzer H\u00fctte to the Hofp\u00fcrglh\u00fctte<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Freshly invi\u00adgo\u00adrated the next morning, you hike on the side of the Gosau\u00adkamm facing away from the Gosausee from the Gablonzer H\u00fctte to the Hofp\u00fcrgl\u00adh\u00fctte. Depen\u00adding on the route, you can walk over the ridge (very deman\u00adding with clim\u00adbing passages) or around the ridge. We are plea\u00adsure hikers and decided on a high trail with a great view, which involves about 10 km and 500 m of altitude.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Stage 3: From the Hofp\u00fcrgl\u00adh\u00fctte to the Adamekh\u00fctte<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

On the most pano\u00adr\u00adamic stage from Hofp\u00fcr\u00adgel\u00adh\u00fctte to Adamek\u00adh\u00fctte, of all places, we unfort\u00adu\u00adna\u00adtely had a bit of bad luck on our circum\u00adna\u00advi\u00adga\u00adtion and for most of the day we walked in the clouds, looking for our way over stony paths in hard scree. In this approx. 9km long stage with almost 1000m of alti\u00adtude diffe\u00adrence there is a tech\u00adni\u00adcally deman\u00adding and at the same time dange\u00adrous section. Here you should defi\u00adni\u00adtely be fit enough and not set off recklessly.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Stage 4: Descent past both Gosausee lakes<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The last stage leads over approx. 12 km and almost no ascent down past both Gosausee lakes. This stage is rewar\u00adding for the exer\u00adtions of the previous days with its beau\u00adtiful land\u00adscape. The weather also helped us to enjoy the last day and the end of the hike. With the birth of our little daughter, such multi-day tours became less attrac\u00adtive. Instead, we keep looking for nice day hikes that are quite easy to master with a hiking stret\u00adcher or, if neces\u00adsary, a pram.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The easiest option, and easy to do with a pram, is to walk around the front of the Gosau lake. This is an easy 4.5 km walk that can be completed in 1.5 hours. So there is plenty of time for photo\u00adgraphers to take pictures.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

If you want to fill your day a little more, you can hike to the back Gosausee and back again. At the end of the day, you will have hiked a little over 10 km and almost 300 m of alti\u00adtude gain, and if you carry your child in a carrier, you will be exhausted.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

We had decided on some\u00adthing diffe\u00adrent and ther\u00ade\u00adfore took the Gosau\u00adkamm cable car to the moun\u00adtain station, after we had previously walked around the front of the Gosausee. At the moun\u00adtain station there are also all-terrain prams that you can borrow free of charge. This is perhaps a valuable tip for all parents. Once at the top, you can use some hiking trails to the Sonnenalm and enjoy the view of the Gosau\u00adkamm and the Gosausee from there.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Around Lake Gosau there are many motifs for great land\u00adscape shots. Espe\u00adci\u00adally on cloudy days or directly after rain, exci\u00adting dramatic shots can be taken. If it is reason\u00adably calm, the great reflec\u00adtions of the water alone provide motifs on the oppo\u00adsite shore. Take a stan\u00addard focal length or tele\u00adphoto with you. I probably don\u2019t need to mention that there are many photo\u00adgra\u00adphic oppor\u00adtu\u00adni\u00adties in the moun\u00adtains around the Gosau\u00adkamm. But even if you can\u2019t walk that far, a ride on the Gosau\u00adkamm cable car is inte\u00adres\u00adting to take some pictures from there.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
